The Earth System

On earth there are linkages and interaction between the rocky surface, the atmosphere and oceans and between these system linkages all the plant and animals too that form the earth system.


The complete Earth Systems are :

1. The Litosphere, include soil and rock
2. The Hydrosphere, include all water in and on earth
3. The Biosphere, all living and death organic component on planet
4. The Atmosphere, the gaseous surrounding the earth; and
5. The Extraterrestrial, energy from the sun, meteor and ozon layer

Various processes that occur and the conection with the earth dynamics are :

1. Melting, responsible for creating magmas that result in volcanism
2. Deformation, responsible for earthquakes, volcanism, landslides, and subsidence
3. Weathering, responsible for landslides and subsidence
4. Erosion, responsible for landslides, subsidence and flooding; and
5. Atmospheric circulation, responsible for hurricanes and flooding
